Our children receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time in third grade.

Children are prepared during their weekly gatherings or at home in our Family Faith Formation program.

We utilize the Blessed First Communion Program which includes a colorful workbook and short videos.

Parents and 3rd grade candidates will gather

Monday, November 14th, 2022 at 5pm in the Church for a teaching Mass.

The best way to prepare your child is by attending Mass weekly on Saturdays or Sundays.  At the 11am Sunday Mass, children are dismissed for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word to the Msgr. Nugent room where they hear the scripture at a level they may comprehend. They return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

 

First Communion Rehearsal will be held Monday, May 1st at 4pm during the children’s regularly scheduled weekly gathering. Family Faith Formation prepared at home and any Catholic School children may attend either rehearsal. 

 

Our children will receive the Sacrament of First Communion on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 at 11am Mass.
