SUPPORTS MISSION TRIP On Saturday, April 23rd, youth planning a mission trip to urban Washington DC this summer (with a little help from friends) put on a pasta dinner to help pay their way. |
FIFTH ANNUAL SPRING GALA
"An Evening in Paris" at the Brierwood Country Club on Friday, April 22nd included not only a French cabaret but many chances to help support the parish through raffles and auctions. |
INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE
On Thursday, April 21st, young people from one of our Faith Formation classes went to the traffic circle on South Park Avenue in Hamburg to pass along their message of peace. Visit the Faith Formation website to learn more about what students are learning and doing. |
HOLY NAME HOSTS
The Holy Name Society put on a delicious breakfast for the parish on Sunday, April 10th, following the 9 AM Mass. The guest speaker from Wings of Hope gave a talk, showed a video and answered questions about this organization which provides free flights to those in need of medical care at distant facilities. HOSANNA TO THE KING Holy Week started the weekend of March 20th with Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion. For the 11:00 AM Mass, people were invited to gather in the gym for the beginning of Mass, which included a short gospel reading and homily and the blessing of palms before continuing with an outdoor procession to the main church. --- most photos courtesy of J.
