Giving

What is Stewardship?
Stewardship is a way of life!
The giving of one’s time, talent and treasure in recognition of all the blessings we have received in an integral part of parish life here at Saint Bernadette. With over 25 ministries run by many gifted and dedicated parishioners like you, we are proud to call ourselves a Stewardship parish.
Stewardship is more than just a convenient catch phrase. Here at Saint Bernadette we truly believe in living Stewardship as a way of life. We realize that all we have is a gift from God and that we have a responsibility to use those gifts to the best of our ability, giving back to Him in thanksgiving for all that we have been given. For some, that may mean offering their time in ministry. For others, it many involve working diligently to protect the poor, the marginalized and the exploited. And still for others, it may be monetarily supporting the continuance of God’s work here on earth.
Jesus Christ is God’s greatest gift to us. Christian stewardship leads us to share a portion of our time, talent, and treasure so that the Good News of Jesus Christ may be shared with those who do not know Him. Striving to be a good steward and a good disciple is our response to the stewardship of time, talent and treasure.
